Notes:
Shipyard Park is a high-level, tournament-style complex that’s built for baseball—organized, well-maintained, and overall a great place to spend the day.
That said, it can get crowded. Between games, you’ll see a lot of players and families moving around, so expect busy walkways and a bit of a packed feel, especially on tournament weekends.
There’s a playground on site, which is a big plus if you’ve got siblings with you, and a small shop that sells souvenirs like t-shirts, sweatshirts, baseballs, and keychains—something kids usually enjoy checking out between games.
One important thing to know: anyone age 6 and up (except players) needs to purchase admission to enter the park, so plan for that ahead of time.
Summary:
A well-run, high-quality baseball complex with great amenities—but expect crowds and plan for admission if you’re coming for the day.
